Scriptural Reasoning Project
The 2020 Gingko Fellowship Collaboration Prize was awarded to Gingko Fellows, Doaa Baumi and Joel Piercean for their Online Scriptural Reasoning Project. This project aimed to allow students from Christian and Muslim backgrounds to meet and practice scriptural reasoning (SR) via a digital platform. It paired a group of 5-10 undergraduate students from Al- Azhar University with 5-10 undergraduate students from the UK drawn from the University of Aberdeen and the University of Birmingham. They met via Zoom for scriptural reasoning sessions over the course of the academic year. The sessions were facilitated by Doaa Baumi and Joel Piercean.
